Here is my honest review about the intermittent fasting diet called “Eat Stop Eat” from fitness and diet industry. I’m going to give you a short overview about this program and I’m also going to share my own thoughts. Furthermore, I want you to know that I have followed this program ever since I bought it (about 10 months ago). I will point out the cons and pros of this diet solution as well as my in-depth review. So please, let me start with my review…
Eat-Stop-Eat is WORKING!
First of all, I want you to know that I bought this program with my own money and I followed the step by step instructions that were included inside the “Eat Stop Eat”. All I can say that it’s really working! I have been taking pictures of myself every month and I have seen some really good results. I’m 38 years old and all of my life I have been the “fat guy”. The thing is, my metabolism has been extremely slow. However, I have been trying to get fit constantly – I have been to gym (lifting weights and running) and messing with all kinds of different diets for over 10 years. Anyhow, everything is pretty much changed now. I have lost my overweight and my wife keeps saying that I’m like a whole new person.
As you might know, there are lot of myths about intermittent fasting and how it should be done. So called fitness gurus and media keeps saying that we need to eat at least 6-8 meals a day! Cm on’, I’m 38, my metabolism is slow, how the hell should I eat so many meals per day? Well OK, I have to admit that I have tried this technique but I gained so much weight that I felt so miserable and sad. I did everything right, but it just didn’t work with me. I’m not saying it’s not working on the 18 year old skinny guy from college, but it certainly didn’t work on me. What really worked was Eat Stop Eat program
.
There are so many misunderstandings about intermittent fasting (loosing muscle, starvation mode and so on…), but that’s not really true at all. I have been able to loose weight and gain some muscles. Following Eat Stop Eat program is not difficult at all. I simply eat as much as needed and nothing more! Furthermore, you only have to implement this diet once or twice a week. Of course, you can do it more as well, but it’s just a “bonus” for you.
Creator of “Eat Stop Eat” (B. Pilon) has worked in the supplement industry for many years and he definitely knows more about fitness and diets than most of us. I don’t know him personally, but I really trust him since I have managed to lower my weight with his great program.
Eat Stop Eat is basically a book with over 110 pages on how to perform a correct intermittent fasting diet. He also goes deep into the strategy itself that he has implemented by himself. It’s extremely detailed book that will get you in action very soon after reading it. Furthermore, Brad has also included an audio version of this book – you can easily save it on your computer or mp3 player (you can listen it while driving for example). There is just so many valuable information. To be honest, I’m pretty jealous that I spread this information on the Internet, but this is a gift for Brad who has really helped me.
The benefits of Eat Stop Eat:
- The simplicity of this diet program: one-two days a week of fasting together with some basics strengthening exercise.
- No need for planning and preparing yourself for diet meals. I’m not the guy who makes a lunch for tomorrow at 12pm, the night before.. No.
- No need for special food additives that cost a fortune. You eat the same food as your family. Easy!
- The Eat-Stop-Eat program information is backed with some serious case studies. However, it’s easy and fun to read even though it’s a boring weight loss subject.
- Customer support was great. Audio files and e-book were professionally put together.
The weaknesses of the program:
- This course/diet plan is not suitable for diabetics.
- Exercise section could have been more detailed. Anyhow, the book itself was quite straightforward to appeal for different people.
My Success with Eat-Stop-Eat program
As you can see, I’m pretty passionate about this program and here is why: I started with the “Eat Stop Eat” program at the end of January (2011) at 219 lbs. Ever since, I have effectively lost weight after every week. Right now, when I’m writing this article (December 2011), I am currently at 176 lbs. The thing is, I feel so much better right now. I’m leaner than ever, my abs are about to come out and I start to look muscular. The best thing about this diet is that I never have to count the calories or watch what I eat. I simply follow the instructions from the Eat Stop Eat program.

This is the picture of my progress between 10 months. As you can see, I’m far away from ideal body weight, but I’m still trying to get more fit so I keep following the diet plan.
